The 2011-2012 McFarland High School soccer season was an exciting season for all of us.  Our Boys soccer team finished 2nd in league play and entered the playoffs as the number 2 seed in Div VI.  Our boys eventually played Riverdale for the Div VI championship and won soccer's first ever championship.   We were then picked to enter the Div III state playoffs (only 8 teams from state are selected) and the first for any MHS soccer team.  Seeded number 2 we won our first two games and advanced to the state championship game for first time in school history.  The game was well played but in the end we were defeated 2-0.  Runnerup at the state championship game is something we can all be very proud of.  Congratulations to our Boys Soccer Team on a fantastic season!!
