Parent-Teacher Conferences 
     Parent and teacher conferences are great opportunities for sharing information about your child. Good communication between you and your child’s teachers can help in your child’s success. You can prepare for the conference by talking to your child about the upcoming conference and preparing questions about their progress. Here are some examples of questions to ask your child's teacher:

• Does my child get along with the other students?
• Does my child pay attention in class?
• What skills and knowledge will my child be expected to master this year?
• How will my child be evaluated?
• What are my child's academic strengths and weaknesses?
• What can I do to be more involved in my child's academic progress?

Stay in regular touch with your child's teacher(s) to discuss goals and progress. Meeting with your child's teachers can help build strong parent-teacher partnerships, which are necessary to help your child get the best education possible and succeed.
