Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten Enrollment Information
Transitional kindergarten is the first year of a two-year kindergarten experience. Transitional kindergarten is designed for students who turn 4 on or before September 1, 2025. Transitional kindergarten provides opportunities for social-emotional and language development as well as basic mathematics and literacy concepts. After year one, transitional kindergartners progress into a traditional kindergarten classroom for year two.
Kindergarten offers developmentally appropriate learning opportunities to build a child’s social and academic skills and to prepare them for the transition into first grade.
